Additional information

  • Each year, the top of the Eiffel Tower closes for maintenance and renovations. It will be closed from 5th January, 2026.
  • Please note that you will not be able to purchase tickets to the summit on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. If you wish to visit the summit, purchase these tickets before your visit.
  • This tour can accommodate a maximum of 20 people in 1 group.
  • Expect to stand in line for a security check at entry, which can take between 2 to 4 hours during peak season.

What to bring

  • Bring a valid photo ID for entry and to collect any access passes if required.

What’s not allowed

  • Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the museum. There are no lockers available for storage.
  • Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed inside the exhibition spaces.
  • Flash photography, tripods, and filming equipment are not permitted inside the museum.

Accessibility

  • Visitors with motor disabilities can enter through the Place Vauban side.
  • People with mobility impairments can borrow a wheelchair (subject to availability) at the ticket desk on the Esplanade des Invalides and Place Vauban sides. Proof of identity is required to be left at the reception desk during your visit.
  • Toilets are available in the museum areas and are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Additional information

  • The museum is free for visitors under 18 and for EU citizens under 26, but a ticket or access pass must be collected on-site before entry.
  • Cloakrooms are available for small items.
  • The museum is closed on January 1, May 1, and December 25.
  • The tills close 30 minutes before the museum closes; plan your visit accordingly.
  • Access to the site is from the Esplanade des Invalides (10am to 6pm) and from Place Vauban (2pm to 6pm).
  • Family activities are available on weekends at 11am and 2:30pm in French, with tickets for children available on-site and subject to availability.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled entry or tour start time.
  • These tickets can't be cancelled or rescheduled.

Moulin Rouge

  • There are no pre-assigned seats at the Moulin Rouge. Seats will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
  • Strict dress code: Formal attire is required to enter the Moulin Rouge. Shorts, flip-flops, sportswear, and sports shoes are not permitted.
  • Children under the age of 6 will not be allowed in the Moulin Rouge. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
  • For copyright and security reasons, taking videos and photographs during the show is strictly prohibited. There will be professional photographers available if you wish to have your photograph taken for a souvenir.
  • Cloakroom usage at the Moulin Rouge is compulsory and is not included in the cost of this experience.

Seine River cruise

  • To comply with the rules, the river cruise boats host 300 people in good weather and 120 people in rainy weather.
  • Keep in mind that smoking, large luggage, and pets (except for guide dogs) are not allowed on this experience.
  • You can enjoy the sightseeing cruise any time, depending on the expiry date mentioned on the ticket.
