  • No strollers (leave them with officials and collect them after).
  • Prohibited items: flags, banners, selfie sticks, tripods, scooters, rollerblades, sharp objects, glass bottles, and weapons.
  • The skip-the-line ticket does not prevent visitors from ending up in a queue. Visitors may need to wait in line for the security check.
  • The monument is closed annually on May 8th, July 14th, and November 11th.

Since 11 November 1920, the Arc de Triomphe has housed the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. My husband and I came for our anniversary and wow, what a treat. The staff made us feel so welcome, even brought a little candle on our dessert (unexpected and sweet).
