Walt Disney Studios Park opened a new area based on Marvel Universe. The Marvel Avengers campus is opened on July 20, 2022, and is the biggest immersive experience in the world of Marvel superheroes. Be ready to meet your favorite characters and call out to them and assemble your own dream team in this Marvel theme park. You can be the heart of the action as you take on the mightiest missions with them. The main attractions on the Marvel Avengers campus are Avengers Assemble: Flight Forces and Spiderman W.E.B Adventure.

Prepare yourself for unexpected action as Avengers can drop in at any moment and recruit you to their team to save the day. Keep an eye out for Thor and others patrolling the streets. You can also recharge during your missions by dining at themed restaurants like Stark Factory and PYM Kitchen.

Walt Disney Studio Park History

The Walt Disney Studios Park Paris, then known as Disney-MGM Studios Park, was slated for an opening in 1995. However, the plan was tabled due to financial issues and later revived on a smaller scale in 1999. The park finally opened on 16 March 2002 and has since undergone several expansion projects,

In June 2007, a new animation courtyard focused on their film studio’s production of animation characters and movies was inaugurated. This expansion also added rides, character meet-and-greets as well as merchandising that is not in any other Disney theme parks.

In 2009, Walt Disney Studios Park also opened new entertainment shows, such as Playhouse Disney – Live on Stage! in 3 languages and also a full-sized parade called the Disney’s Cinema Parade. These new shows are themed after Disney’s popular animations and live-action films.

More recently, in 2018, a multi-year transformation was announced to coincide with the 2024 summer Olympics. This phase of Walt Disney Studios Park expansion has a budget of 2 billion Euros and features themes inspired by Marvel, Star Wars and Frozen.
